Father Matt Dear Santiago, thank you for taking the time to send me this message. I'm very sorry for your loss. God bless Kim. You are a great husband; So faithful, loving and tender. You model for us what love looks like! May she rest in peace and please be assured of my prayers.
Dan Santiago I'm so sorry for your loss! All of us are feeling it too, I knew it was a sad day even before I got your text, I didn't know why just yet.
Rob & Mary Dear Santiago. Mary and I are saddened by your loss and you are in our thoughts.
Kim Marie ( Pickering ) Villanueva was born on June 29, 1958, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth MA, her parents Ralph † and Mary Pickering, siblings Mary † & Rick, Ralph & Lisa, John & Tracy and Donna & Steve, aunt Pearl Donahue † and aunt Bea † Kanelos, many cousins, nieces, and nephews; Kimmy remembered all birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.
Kimmy grew up in Quincy & Brockton MA, great student, Quincy High Class 1976, then Cum Laude from Emmanuel College Boston with 2 degrees in May 1982.
Kimmy obtained her Series 7 license and worked for AMEX Financial, but her mind was in the Hospitality. She worked -along with her Mom Mary- at Lily's Piano Bar in Quincy Market ( Faneuil Hall ) Boston. Kimmy then moved to Miami FL working as Bar Tender & Manager for several restaurants. Kimmy returned to Massachusetts, and started a Residential & Commercial Cleaning Business.
In the meantime, we fell in love and started dating; within two years, we got married on May 29, 1998 and lived in Kingston for 22 years. Kimmy made our house a home. We loved having family & friends over all the time!.
Kimmy sold the cleaning company and she went back to her passion: the hospitality business, working at Siros in Marina Bay for 10 years as the Professional Bar Tender she was; Kimmy immediately connected with people and soon she had many "regulars" who, until this day, miss her smile, conversation and, yes her good drinks!.
Kimmy, my best friend, was a very spiritual, kind, and loving wonderful woman who always cared about everyone.
Kimmy and I used to say, we have no children but we have a big family of friends!
Thank you all...
Santiago Villanueva
